Inventory Specialist

Operations

Manage inventory control system, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Inventory Specialist will also be responsible for analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Excellent understanding of MRP, ERP and inventory systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control system to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure efficient and accurate inventory tracking.
Analyze inventory data and make recommendations for process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce costs.
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock.
Monitor inventory aging and coordinate the disposal or sale of excess inventory.
Assist with cycle counting and auditing of inventory.
Provide training and support to team members on inventory procedures and policies.
