Technical Training

Under the direction of the Tech Service Manager, the Technical Support position is responsible for providing technical support for internal (sales) and external (dealers/distributors) customers, which includes timely responses to technical questions, training and field support.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in HVAC, training/curriculum development on the distributor or dealer level required.
Understanding of basic home networking (routing, DNS, WiFi).
Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, or similar graphical programming.
Strong troubleshooting and deductive reasoning.
Must be available for periodic overnight travel for site visit troubleshooting situations.
Ability to coordinate/evaluate multiple priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide phone/email technical support for Enertech Global dealers and distributors.
Assist outside Sales team with job site visits for advanced troubleshooting when necessary.
Assist dealers/distributors with application support and design.
Provide after hours support (in rotation).
Develop a broad understanding of company and general product knowledge.
Keep records of phone call activity, site visits and complete incident reports.
Perform internal training when required.
Assist customers with GeoAnalyst program when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
