Warehouse Supervisor

Provide first-line support to all Warehouse Personnel employees. Oversee front-line employees and ensure efficiency, compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn shipping/receiving duties, including domestic and international.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to work with all levels of management and staff.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts associated with high-level process issues.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, hands-on environment.
Ability to motivate, train and coach employees to encourage optimum performance and engagement.
Open minded and possess the skills to research and weigh all facts before coming to conclusions or making decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Trains and manages Warehouse employees on the assigned shift, including new hires.
Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.
Uniformly enforces and acts as a role model in the adherence to company rules, policies and procedures.
Oversees Warehouse operations on assigned shift.
Assigns personnel to specific areas or projects and assists personnel through education and training to improve understanding.
Troubleshoots and solves any issues that arise.
Notifies manager of warehouse related problems, delays, issues, etc.
Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
Maintains adequate knowledge of inventory and equipment to ensure the ability to direct employees to perform the job properly.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive environment.
Aware and support Management System Policy and Objectives All ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS).
Continually improving our management systems. All ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS).
Those undertaking tasks that affect product quality are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, & experience.
