178 Roof Mounts
7 fronius inverters

Project Description

In an effort to prioritize energy savings, Affton High School added solar in their most recent project. The Heliene monocrystalline solar panels paired with the Fronius Symo Advanced inverters provides a 12.5% annual utility cost savings. With the roof needing to be replaced, it was an excellent time to partner with Enertech, Daikin TMI, and Coltrane Systems, Inc., to provide a fully engineered and installed solar system.

Installation Details

The Heliene monocrystalline solar panels also incorporate bi-facial technology enabling additional energy harvesting from the rear side of the panel. The ten-degree tilt of the Unirac RM10 racking system allows for reflected light from the roof and surrounding panels to reach the rear of the panels. The Fronius Solar.Web allows for full monitoring of the energy produced by this system and provides a live update to the school during operation.
