Qualifications for Electrical Assembly

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills

• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently; loads of 75 lbs. or more require a two-person lift

• Maintains accurate records and consistently adheres to company quality standards and procedures.

• Committed to excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality; willing and able to work mandatory overtime as required to meet production and customer deadlines

• Collaborative team player who works effectively across all departments to support shared goals

• Proficient in basic computer applications; able to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams

• Must be able to stand continuously on a smooth indoor surface for 67% or more of the shift

• Follows all company safety guidelines at all times, including the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses)

• Requires visual acuity and color vision sufficient to accurately assemble and inspect components and control boards

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment screening and demonstrate the physical capabilities required for the role, including grip strength, hand coordination, and rotational standing

• Must be able to operate handheld power tools requiring a left- or right-hand grip force of up to 60 lbs

Duties & Responsibilities for Electrical Assembly

• Run and route wires from control boards to unit components
• Install capacitors on control boards
• Assemble blowers and motors; fit motors into housing and install blowers with proper electrical connections
• Assemble components and wire control boards using grip and force with both hands to prepare boards for use
• Program motors for units as required
• Utilize watchdog software to track and manage components
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, including quality checklists and related documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and surrounding area at all times
• Prepare control boards by stripping and crimping wires, gathering and maintaining supplies, assembling components, fitting motors into housings, and operating handheld power tools
