Maintenance I
Qualifications for Maintenance I
- Demonstrated strong attendance, punctuality, reliability, and organizational skills; consistently adheres to attendance and PTO policies
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and comply with quality standards
- Ability to operate forklifts and successfully complete required Enertech forklift training
- Proficient in welding, brazing, and the use of maintenance and fabrication equipment
- Skilled in general carpentry and plumbing tasks
- Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, including industrial electricity and AC/DC systems
- Thorough understanding of workplace safety requirements, including OSHA standards
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical and mechanical systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks accurately and within established timelines
- Experience in fabrication, welding, brazing, cutting, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with a drug-free workplace policy
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain department operations and respond to questions
- Self-motivated, energetic, and mechanically inclined
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification through training
Duties & Responsibilities for Maintenance I
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on machines, batteries, tools, and facility systems
- Perform General Carpentry and Complete general carpentry and plumbing work as required
- Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical equipment
- Conduct vehicle and forklift servicing, repairs, and scheduled monthly maintenance
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including routine inspections
- Coordinate and execute the installation, relocation, and rearrangement of equipment
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation to support safety, regulatory, and insurance requirements, including daily and monthly safety checklists
- Ensure the safe, efficient repair, maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment associated with plant operations
- Remove, install, rebuild, weld, braze, lubricate, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using hands-on problem-solving skills
- Use tools and equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures
- Support and strengthen the Maintenance function by collaborating with the team to ensure operational goals and performance standards are met
