Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization and enhancing the customer experience. This position is responsible for providing sales support, lead development, customer assistance, CRM administration, and cross‑departmental coordination. The ISR serves as a key point of contact for customers, prospects, and internal teams, ensuring timely communication, accurate information, and a high level of service.

Qualifications for Inside Sales Representative

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic proficiency with Adobe Suite
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Duties & Responsibilities for Inside Sales Representative

  • Manage, process, and follow up on all website and email inquiries from customers and prospects
  • Receive, assess, and resolve all homeowner support calls
  • Educate and assist customers on the use of the Enertech Portal, GeoAnalyst/GeoSelect Pro, and the EnerTechnician App
  • Utilize CRM reporting tools to maintain and update customer account information
  • Serve as the administrator for the new financing program and assist dealers participating in state utility rebate programs
  • Oversee and maintain attendance records for Enertech University
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including account setup and communication with Territory Managers
  • Collaborate with the IT department on CRM development, enhancements, and adjustments
  • Track dealer credentials within the CRM system
  • Maintain lead activity and coordinate lead development, including trade‑show follow‑up and prospecting documentation
  • Document department procedures and ensure all documentation remains current and accurate
  • Contact customers in regions with established history to offer ongoing support
  • Travel as needed to support marketing, sales initiatives, and customer needs
  • Understand, support, and uphold the Management System Policy and Objectives for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM, and EMS)
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM, and EMS)
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines, including consistent and proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
