Qualifications
- Follows all Safety Guidelines set forth by company, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Good Communication Skills including speaking with Engineers, Managers, and other department personnel
- Strong Computer Skills required, use of Nesting Software a plus
- Attention to detail and organization is required
- Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as needed, while being dependable and responsible, ability to come to work on time and not abuse PTO/attendance policies
- Ability to maintain records accurately
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen & adhere to drug-free workplace policy
- Must be flexible to work with other departments as needed to meet workload demands
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Previous experience with Lean Enterprise/Manufacturing concepts is a plus
- Must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete an Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9. Enertech Global will be using E-Verify to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.
- Have general responsibility for ensuring the safety of equipment and facilities
- Good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean and organized work area and throughout entire facility
- Ability to handle quality requirements
- Able to priortize and organize workload
- Must successfully pass pre-employment pre-work screen & meet physical requirements/demands of job including grip strength, hand coordination, rotational standing, balance, elevated work, repetition, and lifting
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and handle 80 lbs. occasionally, floor to waist
- Continuously stand; walk; bend/stoop, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk; and hear
- Observe environmental practices, procedures, rules, and instructions relating to the efficient handling of their work
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate jib crane and/ or forklift to load and unload parts from the CNC turret punching machine
- Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs to determine material requirements and task sequences
- Select the correct computer program to cut/form/bend the needed parts
- Perform required bending/cutting/deburring/forming of metal
- Verify conformance of finished component to engineering drawings and requirements
- Fill out all paperwork/or computerized documentation required (i.e. quality checklist, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized workstation by sweeping and cleaning up shavings and transporting items on a smooth surface
- Use of hand tools, power tools, manual and automated machines and equipment
- Operates one or more production machines, if trained
- Perform daily maintenance and checks on equipment and make Supervisor/Maintenance aware of any issues/delays
- Provide ongoing support to ensure Enertech goals and Core Values are being met
- Aware and support Management System Policy and Objectives for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)
- Continually work to improve our Management systems for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM, and EMS)
- Operates all production machines
- Able to work and perform job requirements without close supervision
- Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
- Able to effectively explain and answer questions related to the operation of the department
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned
