Qualifications

• Must have excellent organizational skills and be detailed oriented to create work instructions.

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and 65 lbs. rarely (lifting greater than 65 lbs. requires two people).

• Must be able to prioritize workload to meet demands.

• Ability to maintain records accurately.

• Good housekeeping skills to keep work area and facility clean.

• Ability to handle quality requirements set forth by the company.

• Follows all safety guidelines set forth by company, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Glasses).

• Must maintain excellent attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as needed, being dependable and responsible.

• Must be able to work and perform job requirements without close supervision.

• Position requires being on your feet and continuously stand on a smooth surface for 2 hr. to cut and manipulate insulation to install.

• Must be flexible and work with other departments as needed to meet workload demands.

• Must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must successfully meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, right/left hand grip (frequently), crouching (rarely), right/left hand coordination/use of hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms (frequently), and forward bending standing (frequently).

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspection of all kit components for damage before installing in cabinet doors of geothermal units.
• Prep and Assemble kits ensuring accuracy of all parts are secure and square.
• Fill out all paperwork required (i.e. quality checklist, etc.).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Any Downtime may consist of helping in other areas, such as insulating geothermal unit doors.
• Read production calendar to know what order is next, read work orders and/or receive verbal instructions to determine work assignments and material needs.
• Print labels using label printer.
• Prepare and package parts for shipping.
• Basic computer skills to enter and/or print records.
• Accurately match numbers and letters.
• Use hand and light duty power tools.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials.
• Attach any identifying tags, or mark them with identifying information.
• Flexible to work mandatory overtime as needed.
• Willingness to work the required schedule.
