Production Specialist

Qualifications
- Maintains good attendance by arriving on time, using leave appropriately, and adhering to designated break and lunch periods
- Must be able to work flexible work hours for mandated overtime when necessary
- Be dependable, self-motivated, team oriented, self-starter with initiative to work on various projects as needed
- Good computer skills with ability to use associated software, mouse, scanner, printer
- Must be hard-working, mild temperament, honest and loyal employee
- Maintain a high degree of safety in all work undertaken
- Comfortable doing repetitive tasks as position requires being on your feet and standing 95% of the shift
- Noise level is moderate
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Having general HVAC knowledge is a plus
- Having ESCO 608 certification is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work in any department as needed and assigned including, but not limited to, Final Assembly, Testing, Maintenance, and Brazing
- Able to cover all positions within any department as necessary
- Responsible for quality related functions within these department(s)
- Responsible for enforcing safety and housekeeping of their department(s)
- Responsible for overseeing rework projects to assure a successful resolution
- Communicate any issues or delays to Production Manager
- Must be able to effectively explain and answer questions related to the operation of the departments
- Aware and support Management System Policy and Objectives for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)
- Continually improve our management systems for all ISO Management Systems (QMS, OHSM and EMS)
- Reports directly to the Production Manager
- Works with line supervisors to help produce the best product in a timely manner
- Uses expertise to help train employees and new hires
- Work with warehouse employee(s) to acquire raw material
- Work with scheduler to program the way the product is run
- Participates in meetings and safety trainings
